Jerrod Maruyama’s Adorable Pop Culture Portraits

Jerrod Maruyama is currently one half of the Jerrod Maruyama and Oh Sew Nerdy “Sew Cute” show at Gallery 1988 in LA. The artist has gained a ton of attention in the last year as being the brain behind Disney’s ‘Wonderland of Cute’ art and merchandise. While the Disney stuff is great, we wanted to show off his work from the 1988 show because it covers a much broader range of pop culture icons including The Golden Girls, E.T. Willy Wonka, Jurassic Park, McDonald’s Goonies, Stranger Things, SNL, and more.

If you like what you see, you can pick up prints of many of these illustrations over at Gallery 1988
