Scanadu – The First Working Tricorder?

I’ve been following the Scanadu for a while. It’s been one of the coolest devices to come out of the crowdfunding marketplace in a while. In just ten seconds, the Scanadu can gather medical information about a person and then relay it to their smartphone. It currently measures blood pressure, temperature, ECG, oximetry, heart rate and breathing rate. That’s some straight up Star Trek stuff right there.

It has taken the Scanadu two years to get where it is now. Currently, it is in prototype phase, awaiting FDA approval. I can’t wait till it finally hits the market.
