Sure, there might be another Buffy film coming eventually, but until then, we’ll just have to settle for a great emancipator to kick all the vampire ass in town.
The film, based on the popular book by Seth Grahame-Smith, has finally found a studio to call home. Fox has picked up the film and is moving forward with plans for Timur Bekmambetov (‘9’) to direct and Tim Burton to produce.
Grahame-Smith is writing the script and the studio is planning a 2012 release… in 3D!
