Until the actual nominations came out at the beginning of the week, there was a lot of speculation that Adam Sandler was on his way to getting a Best Actor nomination for an Academy Award. He didn’t end up getting the nod for his work in Uncut Gems, nor did his directors, the Safdie brothers. But, if you are clamoring to see their next collaboration, you don’t have to wait. It turns out that they dropped a short film together on Vimeo just a week ago.
The film, called Goldman v Silverman tells the short tale of two street performers in NYC fighting it out for the same spot.
Rod Goldman and Al Silverman are street performers who work the tourist scene of Times Square. Goldman gets no respect and Silverman is the first one to make sure of that.
