Other than hearing that Agent Coulson would be coming back for “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, the most exciting cast announcement for me was Agent Melinda May, played by Ming-Na Wen. I’ve been a fan of hers for a long time, and really loved her work in Stargate Universe.
Now, Marvel is letting us get to know her character in this new featurette for the show, which is currently set to premier on Sept 24th, at 8 PM EST.
Joining her on the show are Clark Gregg, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May and Chloe Bennet as the mysterious computer hacker Skye.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
