Regardless of whether or not it turns out that Keanu Reeve’s John Wick survived the finale of his fourth film, Reeves can’t keep up that action for too much longer. That leaves two options: Reboot or spin-off. Seeing as we are 7-10 years from being able to reboot the franchise, and Lionsgate is still going to want Keanu involved in some way, that leaves us with a spin-off. The good news is that, at least from the first trailer, Ballerina, looks like it may actually be worthy of bring part of the world of John Wick.
While we don’t have a ton of information, we know that the film follows the life of The Ballerina, a girl (Ana De Armas)who meets Winston and is guided into the life of an assassin. Along with Armas, the film stars Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, with Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves.
