Before Zak Snyder built the DCEU, Mad Max creator, George Miller was inches away from bringing the Justice League to the big screen in Justice League: Mortal. The film made it all the way through pre-production before being shut down by the writer’s strike. While that movie never ended up happening, we know a fair bit about it, including the fact that Social Network/ Lone Ranger star Armie Hammer was set to play Batman.
Today, we got a little gift from the internet gods as the filmmaker currently working on a documentary about the film that didn’t happen has released an image of the design they had in-store for Hammer’s Batman cowl.
