Scooby-Doo is getting another reboot, but this time as an animated feature meant to kickstart a shared universe of Hanna Barbara characters. We’ll get the first trailer for the reboot film, titled Scoob, on Monday, but we are now getting the first images from the film. As with most CGI animation, it is hard to tell how good it actually is until you see it in motion, but right now it looks like it’s on par with most second-tier animated films hitting theaters. It doesn’t look bad, it just doesn’t look Pixar or How to Train Your Dragon good.
While Frank Welker will be reprising his classic role of Scooby-Doo, the rest of the gang has also been rebooted with Zac Efron as Fred, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, Gina Rodriguez as Velma, and Will Forte as Shaggy.
Some of the Hanna-Barabara universe characters also set to appear in the film include The Blue Falcon (Mark Whalberg), Dick Dastardly (Jason Isaacs), Dynomutt (Ken Jeong), and Captain Caveman (Tracy Morgan).
Check out the pics below and then come back Monday for the first trailer.
