When The Muppets hits the big screen on Thanksgiving, they won’t be doing it alone. They will be joined by the newest Toy Story animated short, Small Fry. The basic plot of the short is that Buzz Lightyear gets replaced by a Happy Meal style version of himself.
Here’s what USA Today had to say about it:
“Blame it all on toy envy as a Happy Meal-type toy at a fast-food restaurant yearns to break out of his glass display case to play just like a real toy. He kidnaps Buzz Lightyear in an attempt to take over his play-filled existence… The life-reversal forces the real Buzz Lightyear, voiced by Tim Allen, to deal with a support group for discarded, unloved fast-food toys.”
This short also marks the very first appearance of Glee’s Jane Lynch in a Pixar project.
