Tangled is not only getting a sequel, but it’s also getting a new TV series on the Disney Channel, and the network has just unveiled the first footage for the movie in the last hour. Both Mandy Moore (This is Us) and Zachary Levi (Chuck, The Thor movies) are reprising their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene are set to return and reprise their roles, but this time they’ll be joined by a new character, Cassandra, a tough handmaiden who becomes Rapunzel’s confidante. She’ll be voiced by Eden Espinosa.
In the new movie, Rapunzel’s hair has grown back and it’s up to everyone to either solve the mystery or embrace it so it’ll be there for the new series. Honestly, I’m not sure, we’ll find out when the movie hits Disney Channel in March. Here’s the trailer.
