Next Friday, David Letterman will officially be leaving retirement and premiering his new, monthly Netflix series: My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman. The show will feature the late night icon, doing what he does best: Interviewing influential people in front of a live studio audience. However, in the tradition of David Letterman doing things his own way, Netflix will be moving away from their standard “release everything at once” strategy in favor of releasing one interview episode a month between January and June.
Leading off the series for his first interview is former President, Barack Obama. Subsequent 60-minute episodes will feature guests including George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Jay-Z, Tina Fey, and Howard Stern. the first episode is set to premier on January 12th.
