Frank Darabont To Rewrite GODZILLA Reboot

We were just starting to hear some good things about the production of the Legendary Pitcures reboot of Godzilla. Now it looks like the film that was set to film in March might have a little delay. They’ve just brought in Frank Darabont to do a rewrite on the script.

The original script was from Max Borenstein, who is best known for his work on The Seventh Son. Additionally, it is being reported that the film’s producers, Dan Lin and Roy Lee, are fighting with the studio and are just barely hanging on to the project by a string.

Director Gareth Edwards is still attached to the film and the release date is still set for May 16th, 2014…. for now.
