Who’s afraid of ghosts? Definitely not this guy. That’s why I’m stoked to write that the iconic horror/sci-fi/comedy “Ghostbusters” is set to hit theaters once again for its upcoming 30th anniversary.
According to Entertainment Weekly, “Ghostbusters” which first came on to the big screens in 1984, will be re-released in more than 700 theaters on August 29th to celebrate the films milestone and undying interest. Aside from a re-release, Sony Pictures has also planned to re-release the film and its sequel on September 16th as a 30th and 25th anniversary Blu-ray special. Both discs are expected to contain deleted scenes that have never been seen as well as newly recorded conversations with Dan Aykroyd and director Ivan Reitman.
