It wasn’t that long ago that NBC slammed the door on ‘Glee’ Creator Ryan Murphy. Now that the show is a big success though, they aren’t thinking twice about using the show’s popularity to squeeze out a few extra ratings points for themselves.
An entire upcoming episode of the show will be centered around the Dunder Mifflin crew’s love of the Fox musical dramedy. In fact, they will all be gathering together to watch the show as a group.
It is definitely an interesting marketing angle for The Office, who is still struggling to figure out what to do when Michael Scott (Steve Carell) leaves the show at the end of this season.
