The Vulture is reporting that the cast of Glee plans to cover Rebecca Black’s notorious YouTube hit “Friday” in an upcoming episode of the show.
The episode will be titled “A Night of Neglect,” and is set to air on Tuesday (April 19) at 8/7c on FOX.
Here’s the official episode synopsis:
:Proving that birds of a feather flock together, when another under-the-radar club at McKinley High needs helps raising funds, the glee club signs up to help. But when Sue hears about the show of support, she moves quickly to put a kibosh on it. Meanwhile, relationships are tested and big decisions will be made.”
The cover will be performed by Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet, and Mark Salling. I’m not sure what to say to this other than I’m reporting this on a Thursday and tomorrow will be Friday, and “Glee” will be on a Tuesday.
