It’s a sad day for those of us who were still holding out hope. A couple of weeks ago, Guillermo Del Toro took to social media to ask fans if they still wanted to see Hellboy 3. When his post got 10,000 likes on Twitter he arranged a sit down talk with Ron Perlman and Hellboy creator, Mike Mingola. Sadly, it sounds like the meeting didn’t go as well as fans were hoping, because this is what he tweeted today.

It’s a shame, but maybe we’ll get to see a cap for the trilogy at a later date in the form of an animated dvd release or even a comic book…
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
