Henry Cavill is collecting franchises like Thanos collects Infinity Stones. He’s been Superman and The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivera. He’s about to become Highlander and also shepherd Warhammer 40k into live action reality. Now it looks like he’ll be adding one more franchise to his name when he suits up to pilot a Lion as the star of Amazon/MGM’s Voltron!
The only detail we have about the rest of the cast is that he’ll be joined by stage actor Daniel Quinn-Toye. Beyond that, we’ve got nothing. With that said, it’s a pretty safe bet that Cavill will be playing either Kieth or Lance, meaning he’ll be piloting either the red or black lion. However, there is always the chance that they could subvert expectations and cast him as the Antagonist, Prince Zarkon. We definitely do not expect him to play King Alfor, he’s just too young.
