Marvel uber boss, Kevin Feige has just come out in a new interview to discuss Disney+ and how the Marvel+ series slated for the new streaming network will impact the future of the MCU. If you were hoping that the new shows would be side-tales with no real bearing on the films (Like Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), you are out of luck.
“If you want to understand everything in future Marvel movies, he says, you’ll probably need a Disney+ subscription because events from the new shows will factor into forthcoming films such as ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’ The Scarlet Witch will be a key character in that movie, and Feige points out that the ‘Loki’ series will tie in, too. ‘I’m not sure we’ve actually acknowledged that before,’ he says. “But it does.’”
Kevin Feige
While it’s doubtful that Feige was thinking of the animated What If? series that’s slated for Disney+, he was definitely referring to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel
