Mark Millar, co-creator of “Kick-Ass” and “Wanted”, announced yesterday that a comic book sequel to “Kick-Ass” is coming this September, with the movie sequel to follow in 2012.
Titled, “Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall,” the film is scheduled to begin production in 2011 but fans who want to find out what happens two years in advance can pick up CLiNT, Millar’s new U.K.-focused magazine which is “aimed at comic stores.”
The “Kick-Ass” comic book sequel is expected to kick off in the first issue of “CLiNT,” which drops into newsstands September 2. The magazine will be “aimed almost entirely at the UK” and will feature comics-related interviews, features and original comic book stories.
As reported early, expect the Kick-Ass sequel to be even more violent and vile. Can’t wait!
