Kirkman’s ‘Walking Dead’ TV Pilot, Not Looking Good?

According to unconfirmed sources, the script for the the AMC “Walking Dead’ pilot from Academy Award nominee Frank Darabont is terrible and boring. It’s unsure what the criticisms are, whether Darabont had changed the script or not enough happens in the pilot script.

Additionally rumors over the cast of Rick Grimes, the main protagonist of the show, is now fully underway.
According to Big Shiny Robot!, some of the names being thrown around include Jamie Bamber who was in Battlestar Galactica as Lee Adama. Another canidate is Mark Pellegrino, who can currently be seen as Jacob on “Lost” and has made appearances on “Dexter.” Last on the list is Stuart Townsend.

Filming for Darabount’s “Walking Dead” begins in May.
