The Mortal Kombat reboot film is trucking along. Last week, we got announcements on Raiden, Jax, Mileena, and Liu Kang. Now we are getting announcements for Kano, Sonya Blade, and an unnamed mystery role.
Filling the roles of Sonya Blade and Kano are Australian actors Jessica McNamee and Josh Lawson. Meanwhile, Lewis Tan has been cast in a mystery role that has yet to be revealed. Many fan sites are theorizing that he will be cast as Scorpion.
Production on Mortal Kombat begins later this year in Australia with a release set for March 5, 2021.
