NBC’s Knight Rider Promises to Try And Suck Less

Knight Rider is about to go through a pretty major retool. The guys over at BuddyTV just found out that after the thirteenth episode of the season is over they’ll be changing things up and dropping half the cast.

Because if Hollywood has learned anything this summer, it’s that when in doubt go the way of The Dark Knight and reboot.

The casualties will include:Yancey Arias, Bruce Davison and Sydney Tamiia Poitier. Also, instead of working for the government and dealing with big national security issues, the remaining cast members will be working on their own to help out ordinary people with their personal problems. Critics seem pleased because this will bring the show closer to the plot of the original series.

The storyline where Kitt and friends split from the government will begin in a two-part storyline that will air in January.
