Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Joss Whedon of the recently canceled “Dollhouse” fame is interested to include Neil Patrick Harris in his guest directorial debut of Fox’s surprise hit “Glee.”
Back in October, it was reported that geek god Joss Whedon will direct an episode of “Glee,” now there’s the possibility that Dr. Horrible himself may appear alongside the singing cast. According to EW’s report, Harris is interested and Glee creator Ryan Murphy is keen on the idea with only network executives standing in the way.
Harris is an Emmy-nominated regular of CBS’s “How I met Your Mother,” so the network would have to approve any of his appearances on rival station, Fox.
Here’s to hoping it happens! While “Glee” is awesome in its own right, having NPH guest star would only make it awesomer.
He can't fully replace Stevenson, but let's hope he brings something great to the role.
Who's face is that?
Pre-Orders open on January 9th.
