Netflix has now released the titles, runtimes, and directors for the first three episodes of their upcoming Daredevil series. It looks like all the episodes run between 51 and 53 minutes. It’s hard to glean any real info from the titles, but I’m going to guess that episode one’s title: Into the Ring, is a combination origin story/ story about his father’s boxing career. That episode will be directed by Phil Abraham, who has previously worked on shows like Mad Men, as well as Masters of Sex, Orange is the New Black, and Ray Donovan.
Episode Two will be titled, “Cut Man,” and it will also be directed by Abraham. I’m going to guess that this will be the second half of a two hour opening story.
Finally, episode three will be titled: “Rabbit In A Snow Storm” will be directed by Adam Kane. I’m curious about this one because Kane has a history of working with Bryan Fuller on shows like Hannibal and Pushing Daisies, so you can expect some great visuals.
