One of the biggest things coming this year isn’t a comic book movie. It’s the new Star Wars land that is set to open at both Disney World and Disneyland in 2019. At the center of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge are two e-ticket attractions that are designed to bring fans into the world of Star Wars more than anything ever has before.
The two rides are Smuggler’s Run – a Millennium Falcon simulator that allows up to six people to work together to complete a mission and Rise of the Resistance – a dark ride that puts a tram full of people in the middle of the action during a battle between the Resistance and the First Order. The latter of the two will even feature an appearance by Kylo Ren, but it has not been announced whether that will be in the form of recorded performance, live actor, or animatronic.
