The list of classic DC talent jumping on to the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover is truly impressive and they just added another name to the cast. Lynda Carter, the original Wonder Woman is now rumored to be appearing as her superhero alter-ego. Carter is no stranger to the CW as she recently played the President of the USA in a recent season of Supergirl. This also wouldn’t be the first time an established CW actor was set to appear as a different character for the crossover. DC Legends of Tomorrow star, Brandon Routh, will be putting back on the cape and tights to reprise a slightly different version of his Superman Returns role when he appears as the Kingdom Come version of the Man of Steel.
If this is true, and we hope it is, Carter will be joining a cast of returning DC TV and movie all-stars that also includes Tyler Hoechlin and Tom Welling as their respective Supermen, and Erica Durance reprising her Smallville role as Lois Lane. Unfortunately, reports are that Michael Rosenbaum turned down a chance to appear as the Smallville Lex Luthor, and Allison Mack will not be available due to unforeseen circumstances.
