At today’s panel for Pure Imagination Studios, one of the big animation announcements coming from Comic-Con today is that they have partnered with POW! Entertainment to bring back Stan Lee in a new series called “The Amazing Stan.”
The show will feature a fictionalized child-version of Stan Lee according to Deadline, and will take place in a ‘world as it would be seen through the eyes of Lee as a modern-day youngster. The character is a “constant dreamer” and he and his friends “learn to take risks, explore new ideas, and never ever give up.” ‘
The show is based on an idea by Pure Imagination’s Chief Content Officer, John P. Roberts, and Sanjee Gupta. It will be written by Scott Peterson (Escape from Cluster Prime, Phineas and Ferb).
There was a two-minute teaser for the new show screened at the panel, but We haven’t heard anything about it or been able to find it online. As soon as it’s posted, we’ll have it right here for you as part of our ongoing Comic-Con Coverage.
