It was announced a long time ago that Marvel and Disney would be releasing a series of Groot animated shorts on Disney+. At today’s Marvel Animation panel, we got our first trailer for the cartoon that includes everyone’s favorite non-Tolkien, non-Silverstein talking tree farting out a leaf and becoming a god to little blue creatures.
The series does look fun. Now the question remains as to whether people will stick around for a series where there are only three words in the script. And yes, in case you were wondering, Vin Diesel is back to voice Groot in all five of the completed episodes. Check the trailer out below and then check out the series when it launches on Disney+ August 11th.
