‘Superman’ First Official Look At David Corenswet in The Cape and Tights

James Gunn has given us plenty of teases when it comes to seeing David Corenswet in his full Superman Costume, but today we finally got the full reveal.

While you’d usually expect to see Superman looking towards the sky, in his traditional hero pose, there’s something very deliberate about what Gunn has done here. Superman is at home, putting his boots on (or possibly taking them off), one foot at a time, just like a normal person. It’s also interesting that we are getting an image of Superman where it looks like he may have just finished a battle and is worn out from the experience.

Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
