There has been very little news on the reboot of Tomb Raider as a live action film franchise, post Angelina Jolie, but it seems like we are getting a little light shed on the subject by the film’s producer. According to Graham King, the new film, which stars Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft, will focus on the famous treasure hunter’s attempts to find her missing father.
“Well this is kind of what we call a ‘back to the roots story,'” he teases. “This is a young Lara Croft in search to see if her father is dead or alive, so it has a very emotional part to it and i think that’s what Alicia found so interesting about it. I think the storytelling is really good and i think we’ve got the right crew and a great director and I think it’s going to be really fun making a film like this.”
He can't fully replace Stevenson, but let's hope he brings something great to the role.
Who's face is that?
