Vincent D’Onofrio (Law and Order/ Full Metal Jacket) has just been named as the heavy set villain, Kingpin in the upcoming Netflix Daredevil series from Marvel. This is the second casting announcement after Charlie Cox won the role of Matt Murdock/ Daaredevil.
The official description of the role is:
<“a powerful businessman whose interests in the future of Hell’s Kitchen will bring him into conflict with the blind attorney Matt Murdock and his alter ego Daredevil.”
D’Onofrio’s weight has fluctuated pretty heavily through the years. It will be interesting to see how heavy they have him go for the role of Wilson Fisk.
