“Wanted 2” Director Says Angelina Jolie’s Character Will Return

Like something out of Dynasty, according to a report from a Russian news outlet, “Wanted” director Rimur Bekmabetov plans to bring back Angelina Jolie’s Character and possibly others in the sequel.

Based on Mark Millar and J.G. Jones’ comic book of the same name, Bekmabetov recently told RIA Novosti, a Russian news site, that he’s already begun preparations for “Wanted 2” and promises that Jolie will return despite blowing her own brains out in the first flick.

Kostya Khabenskiy’s role as the Exterminator is also rumored for a possible return.

“We’ll think about it,” Bekmabetov said, courtesy of Russia-IC’s translation. “We might possibly resurrect him as well.”

Whatever the case, “Wanted 2” is on its way and preparations begin in July.

“In July, we will start preparation for the film. I think in late autumn or winter, shooting will be performed,” said the director. “The shooting will take place in America, India and Russia.”
