Ask Hasbro (Marvel) – 9/24/10

You asked the Marvel team at Hasbro, here are their answers!

1). One complaint as a collector is the difficulty in tracking down certain popular figure(s) in each Marvel Universe wave at retail. It can be frustrating! Are there plans for HasbroToyShop.com to sell full cases and/or complete sets of figures from each MU wave in additional to selling individual figures?

There are no immediate plans to offer full case packs on HTS.com. However, we are going to be bringing back many of the “harder to find” figures in the upcoming months. These will include Bullseye, Phasing Vision, the Dark Avengers Ms. Marvel (moonstone) and the brown costume Daredevil to name just a few.

2). Will the newly revealed MU Captain America and Thor movie figures be part of the MU line or will they receive their own movie line similar to Iron Man 2? If so, can we expect comic inspired lines as well? The Cap and Thor Movie Lines will stand on their own – they will not be part of the MU line. You can expect a mix of both Movie and Comic product.

3). With the recent announcement of Disney XD¹s Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon (YAY!), can we expect to see any Ultimate Spider-Man figures and figures, playsets, etc in next year?

From Super Hero Squad to the upcoming Avengers series, Marvel Animation continues to crank out some of the best super hero programming ever! Ultimate Spider-Man is yet another exciting sandbox to play in and a part of the Marvel Universe that we haven’t really dug into yet. While it’s still too early to confirm plans, we’d be crazy not to look at some opportunities here!

Thanks to those who submitted questions and thanks again to Hasbro. Be sure to submit your questions for the next round of Hasbro’s Marvel Q&A by emailing us or leaving a comment here. Next round begins now!
