Asmus Toys has just dropped the pre-order and images for their Gollum and Sméagol 1/6 Scale Figures from The Lord of the Rings films. The 8″ tall figures sport around 22 points of articulation and will set you back $130 for either Gollum or Sméagol. Honestly, we think the figures could have been combined with some alternate head sculpts, but die hard fans are going to want to be able to displays both versions at the same time. If you do want both, grab the luxury edition which also comes a snazzy rock display diorama piece. Check out the pics and details below.
Honestly, we are a little torn on this figure. We love the super-fleshy look they’ve been able to achieve and the seamless body and limb joints, but those invisible joints kind of make the shoulders, wrists, and ankles that much more noticeable.
