I’m still waiting until I have these toys in my hands before I make a final decision, but seeing this big video on the Thundercats 2011 line, I’m starting to get pretty excited. Don’t get me wrong. I still think Snarf looks like a Pokemon and the the Sword of Omens is way too small. I also am not sure if I like the jacked up version of the Thundertank.
That said, I think the interactive features are pretty damn cool and slythe’s lizard cannon looks sweet. I’ve also got to give them a lot of credit for making sure that they cater to the old fans as well as the kids who are new to the series. I’m not sure if making a vehicle that looks like the the old Cat’s Lair is the way to go, but I guess we’ll see soon enough.
