We’ve heard buzz about a third “Bill & Ted” moving being made for quite some time, but for the first time today we have some update on its development. Alex Winter, otherwise known as Bill S. Preston, Esq. recently tweeted that the script for the most excellent film is now complete. Here’s what he said:

According to Keanu Reeves, the script for “Bill and Ted 3” are being penned by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, who did the original two films. The film will be about Bill and Ted trying to write the ultimate song that saves the world.
I can barely contain my excitement knowing that a new “Bill and Ted” movie may soon go into production. Although it may be too soon to say that it actually will, it’s something I desperately want to see happen. How cool would it be if Reeves and Winter get back together again? It will be excellent!
