It looks like Hit Girl is going Goth. That’s right, Chloe Moretz whose star is quickly rising between her roles in ‘Kick Ass’ and ‘Let Me in’ has just inked a deal with Universal to play the lead character in an adaptation of “Emily The Strange.”
The Emily character started out as nothing more than a design by skateboarder Rob Reger, but the image took a toe hold in pop culture and Emily was soon a multi-million dollar business with her face on everything from T-shirts to Lunch Boxes. It was not until later that Dark Horse started publishing a comic on her.
As you would expect, the story is a secret, but it will probably be an origin story based around Emily and her four Cats:troublemaker Sabbath, schemer Nee-Chee, imaginative Miles and leader Mystery.
In other news… Four cats is too many. One is fine, two is OK, but once you get to three or more, you better either be raising them for meat or keeping them for sling shot ammo.
