Hardcore Henry isn’t the most imaginative story. It’s your basic tale about a man resurrected in super form (this time he’s a robot), who has to overcome his lost memory to save his wife from the evil army of men who are after his new powers. The only thing that makes the movie special at all is the gimmick. Hardcore Henry will most likely never be seen in the film as the vast majority of has been shot from his point of view. Essentially, it’s time to get ready for a massive 1st person shooter cut scene.
I am sure that a lot of people will love this movie, but just the trailer was enough to get me a little motion sick.
