A new Trailer has just dropped for the Netflix original Bill Murray Christmas Special, “A Very Murray Christmas”. I’ve liked Bill Murray since Stripes, and with a list of guest stars that includes everyone from Paul Schaeffer and George Clooney, to Maya rudolph, Amy Poehler, and Rashida Jones, I’ve got high hopes… but also some fears. Will this be a genuinely entertaining holiday special, or a hipster driven smugfest that gets boring and hard to watch after the first five minutes? At this point I’m not really sure.
This winter, Bill Murray brings an extra-special dose of holiday cheer to Netflix with the premiere of an all-star musically-driven holiday special, A Very Murray Christmas. Set inside New York City’s iconic Carlyle hotel, A Very Murray Christmas opens with Murray preparing to host a live, international holiday broadcast. After a blizzard shuts down the production, he makes the best of the situation by singing and celebrating with friends, hotel employees and anyone else who drops by.
