If you are are Comic Con right now, you are facing one of the best dilemas of your life. With all the madness, excitement, and great programming, how can you decide what to do? Well, each morning we’ll be posting a list of the panels we think are the ones to watch. Keep checking back so you don’t miss anything. Today, there’s some big panels in Hall H like Mockingbird and Doctor Who, but there’s a lot of great panels that you might miss out on if you aren’t careful. DC Collectibles and Jakks Pacific are doing their big toy panels today, Ron Perlman and Garret Dillahunt will be on hand to talk about their new Amazon series Hand of God. There’s even a live read with the cast of Adventure Time!

Amazon: Hand of God
Amazon will introduce the Comic-Con audience to Hand of God; a one-hour drama series that stars Golden Globe winner Ron Perlman in his first lead television role sinceSons of Anarchy, as the honorable justice Pernell Harris. The series centers on Harris, a powerful and corrupt judge who comes apart at the seams in the aftermath of a family tragedy. Stricken by grief, and in the midst of a mental and emotional breakdown, he experiences what he believes to be a religious epiphany. Compelled by forces he can’t understand, he sets out to get vengeance for the heinous crime that ultimately caused his only child to attempt suicide. Now, for the first time at Comic-Con, top production executives from major Hollywood studios will reveal the frank realities of their jobs and why they make the decisions they do. 20th Century Fox senior vice president Daria Cercek (X-Men, Spy), Warner Bros. senior vice president Drew Crevello (Dungeons & Dragons,Akira), and Lionsgate executive vice president Jim Miller(The Hunger Games, Power Rangers) will discuss the development process, how they choose intellectual property to adapt, how movies get green lit, how filmmakers and actors are selected, what mistakes can lead to bad movies, how they balance originality vs. faithfulness to source material, and how much they care about the opinions of fans.
