You’ve gotten used to him as a wizard, but he’s so much more than that. Daniel Radcliffe is turning in his wand for a pair of tap shoes and heading off to Broadway now that he’s finished his term as the lightning scarred hero of the Harry Potter series.
This role should be a lot less controversial than the turn he took a while back in Equus. This one doesn’t have any full frontal nudity, just a ditty about the Brotherhood of Man.
I’ve got to say, Radcliffe is surprisingly good here in his first major musical. Is he the next Hugh Jackman? Only time will tell.
