A new trailer has been released for the upcoming reboot of Stephen King’s ‘It’ and it looks decent. Not great, but decent. The big fear here is that the magic and terror of the original work from King is going to be replaced with easy jump scares that define more horror movies nowadays. There’s also the fact that the new look of Bill Skarsgaard as a more Victorian style Pennywise The Clown reads less freaky and more hipster.
New Line Cinema’s horror thriller “IT,” directed by Andrés Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades.
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
