It has just been announced that Bollywood star Soundarya Sharma has just joined the cast of Wonder Woman 1984 in an as of yet unnamed role. Here’s what the actress told The Hindu about the casting.
“This I can say is a ‘dream coming true’ situation. It’s exhilarating to be a part of such a larger than life character film where you get to play your dream role. I have always dreamt of playing such a character and idolised it.”
There is no word as to who she’ll be playing. It could just be a bit part, or it may be something that feeds into the franchise’s upcoming films. We’ll know for sure when she joins Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, and Kristen Wiig on screen November 1, 2019.
