Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Marvel Comics, Marvel has released a couple classic Marvel covers recreated using Hasbro’s new Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary action figure line.
Hasbro is planning to also give away poster versions of the X-Men recreations at SDCC later this week. Fans can try their luck at the Hasbro booth (#3213) during two sessions – Friday at 10:30am and Saturday at 4:30pm to snag a set. Two unique posters will be given out each session, so fans who want to recreate the iconic Jim Lee X-Men gatefold will need to visit both sessions to collect all four.
Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary figures are currently available overseas and set for pre-order on Thursday, July 18th state side.
Speaking of Marvel Legends… Eagle eyed fans may have noticed something else! Embedded in the image is our early first look at the new Marvel legends Jean Gray!! Never mind the fine print in the image suggesting that “All figures not available.” Collectors know the deal. The new Jean has been rumored to be part of an upcoming three pack dubbed “Love Triangle” featuring Jean, Cyclops and Wolverine.
