One of the big reveals this weekend at D23 Expo is Pixar’s new animated film Onward starring Chris Pratt and Tom Holland.
From what we can tell, the MCU alumni will play elf brothers Ian (Holland) and Barley (Pratt) who are on a quest to see if magic still exists. The movie has a wholesome Netflix Bright feel and will also star Julia Louis-Dreyfus who will play Laurel Lightfoot, their mother.
Onward is one of two Pixar films coming in 2020 with Soul starring Jamie Foxx, Tine Fey, Daveed Diggs, and Phylicia Rashad being the second set later in the year.
Pixar’s Onward arrives in theaters March 6, 2020.
