If you like cat videos, you’ve probably seen a cat video on Instagram, FB, or Tik Tok by now. They are like hamster wheels, but for cats. Cats love them. Cat owners love that cats have a safe place to burn through the zoomies, and a lot of the cats with them end up getting more exercise because they have a place to let loose and run as fast as they can (even if that sometimes means it is at 2 am). There are a few things about this cat wheel that we liked in particular. The wheel has a 29.5” diameter, making it perfect for most cats. The only cats that we think won’t fit on this are Maine Coons and Norwegian Forest Cats. It will essentially hold any cat up to 20 lbs. We like that it’s made of wood and not plastic. It just makes it feel sturdier. Also, we love that they were smart enough to put the sisal carpet on both the inside and outside of the wheel. It’s great on the inside for anything from traction while running to a soft place to nap, and it’s perfect on the outside as an impromptu scratching board for your cat to play with. Now let’s talk about the added benefit. It is endlessly entertaining to watch your cat on a cat wheel. Why do you think there are so many videos of it on the internet?
