25 Cent Wonders – Pop Culture Rides Re-imagined as Grocery Rides

You Remember when you were a kid and there were these machines outside of the grocery store that you could sit in or on and for 25 cents it would rock you back and forth in a horse or a rocket or some other silliness? Well, Patrick Ballesteros has done one better than the stupid things we road outside the Stop & Shop, and he’s recreated some of the greatest image from geek culture as those rides, being ridden by child versions of the characters from the movies and shows that made them famous.

Some of his inspirations for the art include Star Wars, Firefly, Ghostbusters, Robocop, wonder Woman, Batman, Indiana Jones, and Mad Max: Fury Road. He’s even created illustrations based off of Neverending Story, The Professional, and Breaking Bad.
