Look, this tie fighter music box is stunning. It looks and sounds amazing. However, for $20k, it damn well better fly and help me take on a rebel incursion.
the music box comes from the company, MB&F and is limited to just 99 pieces (33 white, 33 black, and 33 silver). It’s not the company’s first foray into sci fi themed pieces, they’ve previously created music boxes that look like an X-Wing and the Enterprise, but I think this is definitely the most expensive.
One of the coolest features here is that it’s actually two music boxes in one. Each wing houses it’s own cylinder and the music they make is quite beautiful. Along with the Star Wars theme, one wing also plays the Mission Impossible, and James Bond themes, while the left cylinder plays The Godfather, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, and The Persuaders themes.
