Anthony Petrie has a great new show coming up at Gallery 1988. While I’m not sure if his charts will be the complete focus of the one man show, I’d be more than happy to walk through a gallery full of them.
Petrie’s charts are re-imagined maps of locales from famous movies, that have been integrated into the characters of the movie. For example, the map for Charlie’s Chocolate Factory is all inside Willy Wonka’s head. Meanwhile, the map from Jaws, turns Amityville into Bruce the shark. Meanwhile, the Star Wars map converts the characters and vehicles of the movies into an elaborate star map.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
