‘Avengers’ Star Mark Ruffalo Allegedly On Terror Watch List

Actor Mark Ruffalo has been allegedly added to the terror advisory watchlist by Homeland Security, according to a report by the San Francisco Chronicle.

The “Zodiac,” “Shutter Island” and soon to be “Avengers” star ended up on the list after organizing screenings of writer-director Josh Fox’s controversial documentary “Gasland” and voicing his opposition to natural gas drilling.

It appears Ruffalo’s efforts to raise awareness and demand a stop to natural gas drilling and protect national water supplies has attracted the attention of officials from Pennsylvania’s Office of Homeland Security.

The 43-year old actor who’s set to play Hulk, a superhero who’s also on the fictional General Ross’ watch list, isn’t fazed by this however. In an interview with GQ, he tells them “It’s pretty f–kin’ funny.”

When questioned by Philadelphia Enquirer for authenticity, Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency adamantly dismissed Ruffalo’s story, asserting that “his name is not in any of our bulletins. There is no list, we never even had a list.”
